Semiotics of the Circus | 2015

Semiotics of the Circus focused on how meaning is produced and transmitted in the so-called “contemporary circus”, as well as the influence of traditional circus performances on the construction of meaning. Semiotics, the theory of meaning creation which analyses the use of signs and the different kinds of sign processes, helped to provide answers to these initial questions.
